Updated Oct 2023! The new design now separates the wheel from the hub, so you can swap between robots with different motor shaft sizes without having to buy a whole new set of wheels!
• By popular demand, we have brought our experience from molding mini-sumo wheels into larger Sumo Wheels!
• Our high-traction polyurethane is molded in four sizes around a machined and anodized aluminum rim.
Features:
- The black anodized aluminum rims have a machined pair of rings and captive through-slots for keeping the tire tread in place.
- Tire tread composed of Shore A20 polyurethane makes these the highest traction wheels you can buy.
- The ShoreA45 tires are still smooth and grippy, but stiffer and harder to tear. They are meant for applications where the wheels might take damage (from rough terrain or other robots).
- Available in many different colors! All wheels are made to order, and colors may differ slightly between batches.
- Remember to order a matching number of Sumo Wheel Hubs in the bore diameter of your choice.
Specifications:
Rim material: 6061 Aluminum, anodized black
Tire material: Shore A20 and A45 polyurethane, professionally vacuum-degassed
(A20 recommended for Sumo robots up to 6kg (13lb). A45 is for tougher applications where damage to the wheels is expected.)
